GEOpta ("we", "us") provides a Generative Engine Optimization platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using GEOpta you agree to this policy.
Account data you provide (email, password hash, plan). Workspace data you add (brands, websites, prompts, competitors). Usage data (scans run, timestamps) and the public brands/queries you submit to the free tools. We do not sell your data.
To run AI-visibility scans on your behalf, operate your account, process billing, send service emails, and improve the product. Your prompts are sent to third-party AI engines (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, xAI) only to produce your results.
We rely on Stripe (payments), Neon/Postgres (database), the AI engines above, and email providers. Each processes data only to deliver their function.
We keep account and scan history while your account is active. Delete your account (or contact us) to remove your data, subject to legal/accounting requirements.
Passwords are hashed (scrypt), sessions are signed, and secrets are kept server-side. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email hello@geopta.com for any request.
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
